The Hike to Mt. Timpanogas

Tyson decided to be adventerous today and hike to the top of Mt. Timpanogas. He asked me if I wanted to go but once he told me they were planning on leaving at 4:30 AM I said heck no! He and a friend met in the American Fork canyon and It took them about 4 hours to hike to the top. He called me about half way up and said he would NEVER do it again. When they reached the bottom the ranger asked them how they like it and they both agreed it was NOT fun. Okay so It was a good experience and he said the view was awesome but it was a pretty intense hike and quite a beating on his body. He needed a little TLC when he got home. Boy am I glad i didnt go! P.S. Okay so at first i could NOT tell what was in the corner of this picture. I thought it was like some guy in the distance without a head with his shirt off heading down the trail. It took me awhile to realize it was his friend walking in to the picture and thats his nose and sunglasses. But its more fun if you pretend his a headless shirtless man!
The View from the Top! A picture is good enough for me

On the back side there was still some snow and I guess crazy people actually slide down this into this glacier pond. While they were there today some guy went down and broke his leg and they had to life flight him out. At that point in the hike the boys were kind of wishing one of them had broken THEIR legs and could be life flighted out! Just some goat along the way. Tyson said there were lots of goats up there just hanging out.
